Born on February 10, 1980, Ashish Kumar Bhatgai is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2017 batch, belonging to the Uttarakhand cadre. Known for his calm administrative approach, technical background, and effective leadership capabilities, he has successfully discharged various administrative responsibilities.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. After clearing the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination, he joined the Indian Administrative Service in 2017 and was allotted the Uttarakhand cadre.
